Frequently Asked

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions homeowners ask us most often, answered straight, before you ever pick up the phone.

Do I need a repair or a full replacement?

That depends on what we find during the inspection. Some properties need a focused repair, while others have damage spread across multiple slopes or elevations that warrants replacement. We document the conditions and walk you through exactly what we observed, so the decision is based on evidence, not guesswork.

Is the inspection really free?

Yes. The inspection and documentation review are no obligation. If we don't find conditions worth restoring, we'll tell you. If we do, we'll walk you through what we documented and what the next step looks like, and you decide where it goes from there.

Can you help with my insurance claim?

We assist on the construction side, documenting the property, reviewing the carrier's estimate against what's required to perform the work properly, and meeting your adjuster on-site for the inspection. Coverage decisions and policy interpretations stay with your carrier.

What storm damage signs should I be watching for?

Common indicators include shingles in the yard, lifted or creased shingles, dents on gutters or downspouts, dings on soft metal vents and flashings, fractured siding, screen damage, and granules collecting at downspout outlets. Many indicators are not visible from the ground, that's why a documented on-roof inspection matters.

Do you work with HOAs and multifamily properties?

Yes. We work with HOA boards, property managers, and multifamily owners across Central Ohio. We coordinate access, document each unit, and keep communication organized across the project so the board, owners, and residents stay informed.

Do you clean up at the end of the project?

Always. Tarps protect the landscaping, debris is hauled the same day, and we run magnetic nail sweeps across the property line, driveway, walkways, and yard. The final walkthrough doesn't end until the property looks the way you'd want it to.

What To Look For

Storm damage indicators most homeowners miss.

Many storm damage signs aren't visible from the ground. Here's what we document on every inspection, and what's worth a second look at your own property after the next storm.

Missing Shingles

Shingles in the yard, on the driveway, or visibly absent from a slope.

Creased Or Lifted

Wind-folded shingles with broken seal strips and fractured mat underneath.

Granule Loss

Granules collecting at downspout outlets, exposed asphalt below.

Dented Gutters

Visible dents on gutters, downspouts, and elbows, common hail tell.

Fractured Siding

Hail fractures, oxidation breaks, or holes punched through siding panels.

Soft Metal Hits

Dings on vents, pipe jacks, AC fins, flashings, and window wraps.

Many indicators aren't visible from the ground, that's why a documented on-roof inspection matters. The inspection itself is free and there's no obligation to move forward.
